Farhad Manjoo Reviews Freedom
Farhad Manjoo, of the New York Times and Slate Magazine, gives Freedom a glowing review in his “Killer Apps” video series.
This complements great press recently in the Economist and the New York Post.
There’s also been some great testimonials to Freedom popping up.
- Nicola Griffith writes “In three hours, I wrote fifteen hundred words. I think this might be the best ten dollars I’ve ever spent. “
- Jeffrey Ricker writes “I wrote more yesterday than I typically write in an entire week…also thanks to this little utility that shuts off all the chatter so readily accessible from my keyboard.“
- Olivia Fox Cabane writes “It’s been a blessing for me in terms of carving out good, solid chunks of focused work; without the possibility of temptation to go look at anything else.“
- Freedom’s patron saint Peter Sagal describes writing his new performance piece: “So: I sat down one day, turned on Freedom, and wrote a monologue in the voice of a guy who really has that job.”
There’s nothing I enjoy more than reading about the successes you all have with Freedom. In the meantime, don’t forget to check out Freedom’s new baby brother software, Anti-Social. Anti-Social turns off the social parts of the internet while allowing you to continue your online work.
