Freedom and Anti-Social were developed by Fred Stutzman. Fred created Freedom because he needed to finish his dissertation (Update: Fred did finish his dissertation!).
Fred’s research explores how people use social technology in their everyday lives. He is interested in studying and building social technologies that protect our privacy, improve our lives, and connect us in novel ways. He realizes the great irony in his invention.
Fred is now at Carnegie Mellon University completing a postdoc. If you’re interested in keeping up with Fred’s research, he maintains an academic webpage at http://fredstutzman.com. His infrequently updated blog is at http://fstutzman.com. You can follow him on Twitter at http://twitter.com/fstutzman.
Please note: Freedom is a one-man operation. Fred answers all emails, support calls go to his personal phone, etc. If it takes him more than an hour to respond he might be in a meeting, on a plane, or sleeping. He thanks you for your patience. His email address, should you need it, is fred@fredstutzman.com. That’s the best way to get a quick response.
